projects
racing quadcopters:
design, manufacturing and construction of lightweight quadcopters to compete in international races. carbon fibre cutting, 3d printed components, control systems and video transmission technologies resulted in the quads being featured at the cebit technology conference in 2018.
musical dna:
conversion of sequencing data into control voltage as a random source of pitch, volume, filter and LFO adjustment for modular synthesizers.
environmental control systems:
design, construction and implementation of a system to maintain temperature, humidity, rainfall and lighting of a terrestrial enclosure with simulation of seasons. a separate aquatic system to control salinity, temperature, lighting, ph, kh, and flow rate for the growth of coral.
slime mould transport:
exploitation of slime moulds ability to create hyper efficient networks to propose a better model of roadways in the uk. food items placed in a scaled down representation of englands most populated areas resulted in a network more efficient than currently used.
